THE LUTGERT HISTORY
Raymond Lutgert, a real estate developer from Chicago, and Founder of The Lutgert Companies, began a visionary journey in the mid 60s that transformed an uninhabited 760 acres with 1¼ miles of beachfront along the Gulf of Mexico. That tract of land is now Park Shore, one of the highly respected communities in the world. Over the years, Raymond and son Scott, Chairman of Lutgert Companies, have forged a multitude of beachfront and waterfront luxury condominiums; high-end residential and commercial ventures. The Lutgert Companies now reaches three generations deep and has expanded its service divisions to stay current in the industry.

BARRON COLLIER HISTORY
Founder of Barron Collier Companies, Barron Gift Collier acquired over a million acres of land in Florida circa 1900. Collier’s sons, Barron, Sam, and Miles assumed management of the company after serving in the armed forces in World War II. Truly a trail blazer, Collier brought the first telephone service, first railroad, first newspapers, and first bus company to this area. He also constructed the Tamiami Trail through the Everglades from the Lee County to the Dade County line, which by connecting the two coasts of Florida, had the County named in his honor as well as Barron Collier High School.
