 The Naples International Film Festival (NIFF) is less than a month away! From November 6 –8
at Silverspot Cinema, NIFF will showcase the extraordinary on Silverspot’s screens with some
of the finest films, shorts, and documentaries
from around the world and a special focus is
paid to Southwest Florida filmmakers. The star studded Opening Night Gala held at the Philharmonic Center for the Arts on Thursday, November 5 will include a special screening of The Cove, a recent Sundance winner. The story follows a former dolphin trainer and offers a provocative mix of investigative journalism, eco-adventure and arresting imagery that adds up to an urgent plea to help these aquatic mammals.
The festival will continue at Silverspot Cinema at The Mercato from November 6-8. A children's portion of the film festival on November 7th is presented through a partnership with the New York Children's Film Festival, who is providing the film content, and the presenting sponsor, the Children's Museum of Naples.
