Located on the main street of Mercato, Stage 62 Deli is the progeny of the original Stage Deli, an upscale Jewish deli and restaurant, founded and operated in 1962 by Jack and Harriet Goldberg in Oak Park, Michigan. Son, Steve Goldberg, proprietor of Stage 62, learned the business at an early age working along side his parents and brought his expertise to open Stage 62 at Mercato, which opened in January of this year.
